Swell E.P. is mixed!

Today we finished the mix of my first record here at Far and Away studios here in Boulder! Swell E.P. was brilliantly engineered by Geoff Gray and geniously produced by David Snider. The record is graced by David Alderdice’s wizardry on drums and the the wondrous vocal art of Isa on backing vocals.
Next week the record gets mastered by David Glasser at Airshow Mastering in Boulder, where it is really going to pop! Soon it will be one step closer to becoming available to you online and at shows. Things are sounding really stellar, and I’m excited to debut these songs on the Radio (KVNF and beyond) when a release date is made available.
I can’t wait until the record is out, but I have to for now, so in the meantime, come out to see why we need fresh live music for human beings, and celebrate life with me. Stay tuned for news on the record, shows, videos, and more at www.joealan.com
Cheers in this infinite moment!

EP recording magic in progess!
Greetings humans!
A few weeks ago I began recording my first record at Far and Away Studios in Boulder with Geoff Gray engineering, David Snider producing, and David Alderdice on drums. Let me just say that the magic is happening, and with these monstrously talented people on board, it’s gonna sound really sweet. This week I go back for the mix, and to record special guest vocalist Isa! Below are some pictures from the first sessions at Far and Away studios.
Lots more updates to come, but meanwhile, follow me on twitter, like me on facebook and I’ll keep you posted. Deepest thanks to you for all the support, check out the upcoming shows section on this pages top-left. See you out there in music, Love & Peace

Falling into place…
It’s chilly today, so I thought perhaps you might like some music love from this past summer, live from Paonia Town Park @ Cherry Days! JoeAlan live, featuring Daniel B. on bass, Cory Mclure on drums, and all the very sexy dancers of Paonia!
I hope it warms your soul, even though the song is called the Chills…
Love and Peace

Greetings Humans!
This is my first post, so bear with me, it has been a while.
Big thanks go out to all of you who have come to support the music and I at all the shows these past few years, you are the best fans any performer could ask for!
Fashion show was tons of fun, so many beautiful people here in the North Fork Valley, it is outrageous. Thank you Mary Hockenbury for the photo to document my solo show during the VIP party, and also to capture what I’m wearing; fashion by Foxy Moron. Check out Mary Hockenbery on Flickr
Recording coming soon, finally! I’ll be in Boulder this fall making an EP that should be available by winter, so stay tuned…
Love and Peace from Paonia,
JoeAlan
