CD Release Party June 8th at the Paradise Theatre, Paonia CO!
Hey everybody,
I just want to start by saying thank you for the support at the art fundraiser show at Revolution Brewing this past month, it was a success and paid for the music video and album art in full! I’m pleased to announce the release date for my upcoming record “JoeAlan EP” will be June 8th at the Paradise Theatre in Paonia, CO. Doors at 7PM, show at 7:30 with the fabulous Strolling Scones opening the show!

Hey everybody, just a couple quick things today, here we go!
I’m playing at Waldo’s in Paonia next Saturday (the 21st) with Isa, Mike King, and Justin Hess. No Cover, 9PM. Come shake yo’ booty with us!
We are having a community fundraiser party for my debut CD and Music Video at Revolution Brewing in Paonia, Friday April 27th at 5:30pm. Isa will be performing with me and we have Camilo opening the show! I’m so grateful for all the support through the years here in Paonia, I look forward to this night to raise the money for the album art (by Naropa Sabine) and the stellar Music Video (by Todd Sheets, Hutman Media inc.)
Spring is springing and the changes are blowing in and sprouting up!

Tonight in Paonia…
Hello fellow humans, Now dwellers, friends and music lovers, I hope this finds you happily breathing deeply!
Last night’s open mic at Revolution Brewing was another beautiful moment here in Paonia, proving yet again the support we have in this community is epic, thank you so much! We had everything from Indie, Punk, Blues, Hip-Hop, a Firefly/Jayne Cobb tribute (Hero of Canton) with a real-life Jayne hat made by Oogie, and even sermonizing by our very own Goold! Special thanks to Mike and Gretchen King for continually sponsoring live music and art here in the North Fork Valley.
I’m happy to announce that the EP will be released soon, a long-awaited debut! There will be a fundraiser event here in P-town in the next few weeks, to raise money for the music video (by Todd Sheets) and the album art (Naropa Sabine.) I’ll keep you posted on the date for the fundraiser, we’re looking at a May release, so it will be soon.
I’ll be playing at Louie’s tonight in Paonia, show starts at 8PM, I’d love to see you there if you can make it.

JoeAlan live at Revolution Brewing March 17th, 2012 Saint Pattie’s show
Join me for a limited time no cover acoustic show here in Paonia at the place that started it all for me in P-town; Revolution Brewing. Swing by for a Saturday brew, catch up with your fellow humans and enjoy the no-cover fresh live music.
Swell E.P. is mixed!
Today we finished the mix of my first record here at Far and Away studios here in Boulder! Swell E.P. was brilliantly engineered by Geoff Gray and geniously produced by David Snider. The record is graced by David Alderdice’s wizardry on drums and the the wondrous vocal art of Isa on backing vocals.
Next week the record gets mastered by David Glasser at Airshow Mastering in Boulder, where it is really going to pop! Soon it will be one step closer to becoming available to you online and at shows. Things are sounding really stellar, and I’m excited to debut these songs on the Radio (KVNF and beyond) when a release date is made available.
I can’t wait until the record is out, but I have to for now, so in the meantime, come out to see why we need fresh live music for human beings, and celebrate life with me. Stay tuned for news on the record, shows, videos, and more at www.joealan.com

EP recording magic in progess!
Microphone shootout at Far and Away Studios
Greetings humans!
A few weeks ago I began recording my first record at Far and Away Studios in Boulder with Geoff Gray engineering, David Snider producing, and David Alderdice on drums. Let me just say that the magic is happening, and with these monstrously talented people on board, it’s gonna sound really sweet. This week I go back for the mix, and to record special guest vocalist Isa! Below are some pictures from the first sessions at Far and Away studios.

Greetings Humans!
This is my first post, so bear with me, it has been a while.
Big thanks go out to all of you who have come to support the music and I at all the shows these past few years, you are the best fans any performer could ask for!
